Deadly

Meg’s project ‘Deadly’ is a set of seven portraits which each represent one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

By using studio portraits as a base and illustrating over them she aims to demonstrate how a child would imagine the sins would be portrayed. She takes inspiration from films and books from her childhood. She has also taken inspiration from famous artworks and includes Victorian flower language and symbolism in the images.
