‘The Death of a Princess’ is a fairy tale that was created in response to the classic princess stories that promote this ‘white knight syndrome’. Inspired by the Brother’s Grimm this series subverts stereotypical depictions of women by eliminating their dependency to male figure. It explores feminist themes and female empowerment in order to disrupt the patriarchy.
