This series of photographic work portrays strong, confident women who are empowered by their gender and are proud to display their passion and sexuality in a way that mocks the overtly sexualised manner women have been objectified in photographs for the pleasure of the male gaze.  

The spectrum of colour signifies the celebration of female empowerment and the importance and strength of women in our society. The use of fruit symbolises the sweet taste of progress of women’s’ rights. Another step forward in what seems like a long road to full female empowerment.
