The project started through noticing the shared struggles of myself, family and friends with the stress and anxiety caused through our neurodivergency. The product is named footer (a Scottish word for fidgeting), which supports positive stimming as a way for people to regulate their emotions. The product works as a core piece but is customisable and expandable to meet the preferences of individuals.
