SURFSNUG
A reversible two-in-one product for cold-water surfers. An outdoor changing robe revealing a surfboard carrier when turned inside out. A design concept that reflects on maximising the potential of outdoor garments based on user needs.

The product can be used as a layer of protect while keeping the user warm when getting changed into a wetsuit.

Reducing discomfort of the cold-water surfing environment.

When reversed inside-out a surfboard carrier is revealed. A built-in nylon webbing creates a sling allowing for a transport of a surfboard.

Beginner surfboards are difficult to carry due to its width, especially if the walk to a surf spot is long – creating an unnecessary fatigue.

Surfers can store their belongings inside when securely wrapped on the beach as a waterproof pack.

While surfing, the product is anchored to the ground. Taking the inspiration from the sea limpet due to its conical shell shape.

The prototype is made of a 100% ripstop layer and a polar fleece lining on the inside to withstand the Scottish climate.
