Sisters In Faith’ is a documentary project exploring the role of religion in women's lives. This feminist project reveals how faith can be a source of strength and empowerment in the face of oppression and lack of equality for women. Looking to women in various religions I hope to have highlighted the diversity of religious experiences and shown how these different faiths can empower their believers. By showing the ‘sisterhoods’ that women rely on via their love of their faith, I hope to help break down stereotypes and misconceptions about religion and show the love and connections throughout.
