Biggin up Bairns
My project is ‘Biggin up Bairns’. This is a proposal for a government funded scheme that could exist to help promote and preserve the Scots language in parents and young children.
Biggin up Bairns is an at home learning kit that comes with multiple resources that aim to support parents/care givers in passing Scots down to their young children, as their children learn to talk, with the target age range being 0-3 years. Biggin up Bairns is an idea that would happily sit alongside the other fantastic resources in Scots children’s education and hopefully contribute to Scots preservation.
