The JoYn Kit was designed to help children adjust to their new reality. It includes an efficient rucksack, to help them take all possessions between households. In a secret pocket within this rucksack is a countdown calendar to help children anchor the concept of time separated from a parent. An additional secret pocket, holds a hybrid recorder, speaker. It is a personal confidant for the child to talk to and record how they feel. It can help the child’s lack of confidence in communicating with their parents as the recorder can be given to the parent and recordings played to be listened to. It removes worry of confrontation to further aid the new family dynamic.
This is Confidant. A hybrid speaker recorder, which allows the child to confide in and gives the opportunity for the child to give the recording to a parent to listen to, so the child doesn’t have to do any talking or confrontation.
