Dear Bob

Dear Bob, a photographic project by Louise Elisabeth Haughey, documents North Edinburgh communities and the housing conditions of many of the residents, the mould they are living with and overcrowding being central. Mould fundamentally determines how families can live in their homes, distorting family life and affecting both the mental and physical health of family members. Louise spent time with people in the communities. She heard many of their stories, was welcomed to community meals and into their homes, finally capturing in photographs some of the residents, the challenges they lived with and some of the many sources of fundamental support within the neighbourhoods.
