This Wasn’t Made With a Computer
My project aims to demonstrate how a Graphic Designer can operate successfully without the use of digital technology and automation, whilst exploring both the benefits and detriments of this.
My method of doing so involved hand printing various garments and selling these from a stall I constructed myself.

After the completion of my sale, I was left with various items that I have displayed in my exhibition, along with posters, flyers, my process book, a presentation video, and my backboard.

To the left are various examples of clothing I printed by hand. After exploring various ways of doing this, I found Lino printing to be the most effective.

Each of my garments were purchased second-hand, either from a bulk clothing seller or charity shops.

When creating each of my designs I tried to ensure they, in some way, connote the premise of my project.

My stall was located at Ocean Terminal, in the weeks leading up to my sale, I hand printed posters and flyers, I then distributed these in the surrounding area.
